However, True Ocean was also born from a deeply personal journey — the founder’s experience caring for their own father, who lives with dementia. Through this experience, they gained invaluable insight into the daily challenges faced by care staff and witnessed firsthand how the kindness, empathy, and commitment of individual carers can transform the quality of life for residents.
